Windstar Cruises has opened bookings for its 2028 French Polynesia season, offering the choice of 14 different itineraries and 109 departures on either a sailing yacht or a motor yacht.
Itineraries range from the signature seven-day ‘Dreams of Tahiti’ voyage to longer journeys exploring the Tuamotus, Marquesas, Fiji and the Cook Islands
The luxury cruise line will operate two yachts year-round in region. The all-suite 312-guest motor yacht Star Breeze, which sails longer voyages, and the 148-guest classic sailing yacht Wind Star, which will operate the seven-day ‘Dreams of Tahiti’ itinerary.
Many of these voyages can be combined into Windstar’s popular Star Collector sailings, creating longer adventures across the South Pacific. Guests will also have the opportunity to add overwater bungalow stays in Moorea and Bora Bora.
Windstar Cruises Chief Commercial Officer Janet Bava said: “French Polynesia is one of those destinations that feels almost mythical until you experience it for yourself.
“Our yachts allow guests to explore these islands the way they were meant to be discovered – by sea – with the freedom to easily travel between the islands while connecting with the culture, traditions and natural beauty that make this region so special.
“Because our ships are small and demand for Tahiti is so strong, booking early is the best way for travellers to secure the sailing and stateroom they really want.”
Travellers booking before 31 May and paying in full at the time of booking can save 5% with Windstar’s ‘Pay Now, Save More’ promotion.
