A platform designed to support travel agents working in the wellness travel sector has launched.
SHARE has been set up to connect agents with some of the world’s most sustainable wellness hotels.
Current hotel partners include Lanserhof Group, Palace Merano, Zulal Wellness, Chiva-Som, Palazzo Fiuggi, Revivo Wellness and Dwarika’s Sanctuary.
Hotel members go through an approval process and pay an annual fee to gain access to agents.
Agents meanwhile, are invited to register and also go through an approval process.
Once approved, agents can connect with hotels and they will receive free content and news and can join webinars and virtual site inspections through SHARE’s online platform.
The platform will also have information on wellness trends and can help agents find holistic practices by theme or country. Further educational programmes will also be available at an additional cost.
Already, SHARE has about 20 registered hotels and more than 600 agents worldwide.
It was set up by Ernestina Bertarini, who worked in sales and marketing roles for luxury brands including Raffles, Rosewood and Jumeirah.
She said she set up the platform after recognising ‘the need to offer travel advisors a service that they have been crying out for’.
She added: “What they increasingly desire is more involved, tailored transformative experiences. The wellness landscape is changing and becoming increasingly complex. Prioritising health whilst travelling – be it for leisure or business has never been greater.”
