Viking has opened bookings for its new 2027 itineraries on the Mississippi and Ohio rivers on board the 386-passenger Viking Mississippi.
New for next year is a 15-day ‘Bayous, Blues and Bluegrass’ cruise between New Orleans and Louisville, with ports of call along the Mississippi and Ohio rivers.
A shorter option – an eight-day Mississippi and Ohio River Explorer cruise – travels between Memphis and Louisville and focuses on the classic American musical genres – the blues, rock ‘n’ roll and bluegrass – that arose along these waterways.
The new itineraries build on the line’s existing programme of four voyages, which range from eight to 22 days.
