Uniworld expands programme to include more luxury tour options

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has launched a brochure bringing together the full range of new European cruise and tour journeys and its inaugural collection of luxury, long-haul land holidays.

The 84-page 2026/27 brochure incorporates luxury land, rail and river cruise holidays from Uniworld’s ‘Spectacular Journeys of the World’ collection in India, Southeast Asia, South America, Egypt and Jordan, alongside a new cruise-and-tour programme in Europe and land-only journeys from sister brand Luxury Gold.

Uniworld UK Managing Director Chris Townson said: “For 50 years, Uniworld has been renowned for offering the finest cruises available on the rivers of the world, but we are evolving to be much more than just a luxury river cruise company.

“Our guests aren’t necessarily looking for one type of experience when on holiday – they simply want the ultimate way to immerse themselves in a destination in style and with wow, memory-making moments along the way.

“Now customers and agents can come to us for a wide range of holiday options, including unique combinations of ultra-luxury river cruise, touring, resort, rail and – for the first time –elegant long-haul, land-only itineraries.

“They can be assured that the same careful attention to detail, cultural connection, personalised service, exceptional fine dining and supremely comfortable surroundings will apply throughout. Our guests have come to expect certain standards from being on board our ships, so our land-based experiences must deliver at the same level – and trust me, they do.”

New to Uniworld’s 2027 collection are its cruise and tour combinations in Europe, linking eight-day European river cruises with small-group based touring, staying in iconic hotels and experiencing immersive cultural connections in destinations.

Options include an ‘indulgent’ 19-day ‘Best of Italy’ round-trip from Venice, including a Venetian lagoon cruise, private cruise along Capri’s coastline, truffle hunting in Tuscany, Pompeii and after-hours access to the Doge’s Palace.

The package includes international flights, seven nights on Super Ship La Venezia, 11 nights in a property such as the Excelsior Palace on the Portofino Coast, some meals – including Michelin-starred dining overlooking the Gulf of Naples, premium transportation – including a hotel transfer in Capri in an open-topped taxi – and experiences and excursions.

Also new is a 19-day ‘Delight in Switzerland and the Rhine’ cruise and tour, including seven nights’ sailing and 11 nights in a hotel such as the Mandarin Oriental in Lucerne.

For the first time, Uniworld’s Ultimate Journey Collection also includes long-haul, luxury, land-only journeys from sister brand Luxury Gold. The collection is a series of carefully curated small-group journeys in destinations such as Japan, South Africa and Eastern Canada, each of which stay in some of the most celebrated hotels and offer immersive experiences steeped in local tradition and culture.

The collection’s luxury rail-and-land stay options have been expanded to include a 14-day Bali, Singapore and Indonesia itinerary that combines seven nights on Aqua Expeditions’ yacht-style ship, Aqua Blu, with six nights on land in Bali and Singapore featuring memorable local experiences.
