UNICO Hotel Collection is expanding beyond Mexico for the first time with a new adults-only, all-inclusive resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
UNICO 18˚77˚ Montego Bay, managed by PAM hotels, is due to open on 1 March 2027, with bookings available through key trade partners including Gold Medal, If Only and TUI from next month.
The five-star resort will have 451 rooms and suites, with almost all offering ocean views and private outdoor spa tubs.
It will also feature nine restaurants and bars, four pools and the largest Esencia Wellness Spa in the UNICO collection, with 32 retreat rooms.
The resort is designed around Jamaican culture, with locally commissioned artwork, Jamaican-inspired food and drink, live music, local spirits tastings, artisanal workshops, cultural experiences and access to Montego Bay’s renowned golf courses.
The resort will cater for couples, solo travellers, groups and celebrations, with indoor and outdoor event spaces including a ballroom and meeting rooms.
It will be the third property in the UNICO collection, joining UNICO 20°87° Riviera Maya and UNICO 20°105° Riviera Nayarit in Mexico.
PAM Hotels Managing Director and General Manager of Montego Bay Philipp Hofer said: “Expanding beyond Mexico marks an exciting milestone for UNICO Hotel Collection, but our philosophy remains the same.
“Every resort is shaped by the destination it calls home. Montego Bay gives us the opportunity to celebrate Jamaica’s culture, creativity, cuisine, and hospitality in a way that feels authentic to the island while staying true to the personalised experience that defines our brand.”
