Tate Husband has left his position as Executive Director UK & Ireland at luxury cruise line Explora Journeys.
The company said Tate had decided to return to the hospitality sector, where he was previously Director of Sales & Marketing at the upscale London hotel The Langham.
Tate has also previously worked for Rotana Hotel Management, Kimpton Hotels, Marriott, Wyndham and others.
He joined Explora just 10 months ago as part of the cruise line’s strategy to target luxury hotel guests.
His role was to lead the strategic development and commercial expansion of Explora’s UK and Ireland operations.
He was responsible for managing the commercial team and new business development opportunities, including optimising trade partner relationships.
Indulge understands that Antonio Paradiso, VP & Managing Director UK & Ireland, and Priti Mehta, Senior Head of Sales, will continue to oversee Explora Journeys’ travel advisor strategy and relations.
