Silversea launches partnership with luxury golf tour operator

Silversea has unveiled a new partnership with luxury golf tour operator PerryGolf, introducing a series of golf-focused sailings with guaranteed access to some of the world’s most iconic courses.

The programme allows guests to play at leading venues including Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Camiral Stadium Course and Cape Kidnappers, while travelling on Silversea’s luxury, all-inclusive ships.

Voyages featuring golf itineraries will include pre-arranged tee times, with green fees included, alongside return transfers between courses and the ship. Guests can either bring their own equipment or use rental clubs.

Packages also include access to practice facilities, on-course food and drink, and a one-day tournament with prizes. Each sailing will be accompanied by a PerryGolf host.

Featured courses span the UK and Ireland, the Mediterranean, and Australia and New Zealand, including Prince’s Golf Club, Portstewart, Dumbarnie Links, Son Gual Mallorca and Kauri Cliffs.

Three itineraries have been announced so far, with additional 2028 sailings yet to be confirmed.

These include a Southampton roundtrip from 14-25 August 2027 on Silver Spirit, covering courses across England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, including Royal Liverpool and Castle Stuart.

A Barcelona roundtrip from 25 October until 3 November 2027 on Silver Ray, features Spain and Mallorca courses such as Camiral, Las Colinas, Son Gual and Alcanada.

Finally, a Sydney to Auckland sailing from 29 January until 12 February 2028 on Silver Moon, includes Tasmania Golf Club and courses across New Zealand such as Cape Kidnappers and Royal Wellington.

Silversea said the partnership is designed to deliver a ‘seamless ship-to-course’ experience, with all logistics handled.

Silversea President Bert Hernandez said: “Silversea is built on giving guests access to experiences that go beyond what most travel can offer.

“Our partnership with PerryGolf extends that standard to golf – placing guests on some of the world’s most celebrated courses, with every detail managed and every comfort included.

“This is what Silversea does best – removing the barriers between our guests and the experiences they care about most.”

PerryGolf CEO Alex Shattuck added: “This partnership with Silversea allows us to bring our expertise to an even more elevated setting, combining the ease and comfort of luxury ocean travel with access to some of the game’s most revered courses.

“From the British Isles to the Mediterranean and the South Pacific, these voyages are designed for travellers who want the golf to be every bit as memorable as the journey itself.”
