Scenic Group has appointed Jo Reid to a newly created role on its UK trade team, Strategic Account Manager.
She joins from Celestyal where she was most recently European Strategic Partnerships Lead, and has previously held senior roles with Carnival UK, Seabourn and Iglu, working across the UK, Ireland and European markets with more than 25 years in the industry.
Jo will support travel agent partners across Scenic and Emerald Cruises as the group, which was founded in Australia, continues to grow its presence in the UK market.
Her appointment comes as Scenic Group increases its focus on the trade, with dedicated support for agents across its luxury river cruising, yacht cruising and land touring portfolio.
The company is set to launch three new river ships on the Mekong and Douro in 2027 and 2028.
Lydia Tempest-Mitchell has also joined the UK trade team, as Trade Support Administrator. She joins with experience in customer service, team leadership and event operations.
Scenic Group UK Director of Sales & Partnerships Shane Lewis-Riley said: “We are delighted to welcome Jo and Lydia to the Scenic Group UK Trade Team.
“Both bring unique strengths, valuable experience and a genuine passion for the travel industry that will be a tremendous asset to our business and our trade partners.
“Jo’s extensive cruise industry expertise, commercial acumen and longstanding relationships across the trade are second to none, while Lydia brings fresh perspectives, enthusiasm and a strong foundation in tourism and customer engagement.”
