Panache Cruises has secured a deal to turn a luxury cruise ship into accommodation for the 2027 Ryder Cup.
The cruise specialist worked with Ryder Cup Travel Services to source Oceania Marina, which will house spectators attending the tournament at Adare Manor, Co. Limerick, Ireland.
The five-star ship, carrying up to 1,230 guests, will be docked in the Shannon Estuary as a floating hotel for the duration of Ryder Cup week, which runs from 13 to 19 September 2027.
Packages, which are now on sale, combine onboard accommodation with official four-day Ryder Cup tickets and daily transfers to the course.
Guests can depart from Southampton on a 10-night round-trip voyage, or choose a five-night stay by boarding in Ireland during the event.
Panache Cruises Vice President of Business Development Matt Busby, who helped broker the deal, said: “We immediately leveraged our contacts and identified three possible ships of the right size.
“It’s a fantastic example of how our industry relationships can help deliver solutions for high-profile events.”
Ryder Cup Travel Services said the cruise option combines access to the tournament with ‘first-class dining, all-inclusive hospitality and evening entertainment’.
The 2027 Ryder Cup marks the event’s 100th anniversary.
