Kerzner International has unveiled plans to open a One&Only in Courchevel in 2030, the brand’s first resort in the French Alps.
The resort will include a limited collection of One&Only Private Homes.
The announcement follows the debut of One&Only Moonlight Basin in Montana in the US, which forms part of the hotel group’s strategy to open in mountain resorts.
In Courchevel, it is taking over the existing Courcheneige Hotel in the Jardin Alpin neighbourhood to transform it into a One&Only resort with a mix of guest rooms and suites, a collection of restaurants, bars and lounges, a spa with an indoor/outdoor wet circuit, thermal experiences, private treatment spaces, beauty and recovery facilities and areas for movement and relaxation.
It will have direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Bellecôte slope in Les Trois Vallées (Three Valleys).
Juan Aguilar, President of Real Estate for Kerzner International, said: “Courchevel represents one of the most exclusive residential and hospitality markets in the world, making this a landmark opportunity for Kerzner to bring One&Only to the French Alps.
“As owner and developer of this exceptional project, Kerzner is proud to lead the transformation of one of Courchevel’s most iconic sites into a world-class resort and private homes offering.
“This development reflects the full breadth of our expertise, not only as a leading operator of ultra-luxury hospitality experiences, but also as a trusted investment and development partner capable of creating enduring value in the world’s most sought-after destinations.”
