Luxury operator Octola has unveiled a new six-guest retreat in Finnish Lapland opening on 1 December.
Octola III is located on the site of a former radar station near Enontekiö and will accommodate up to six guests across three bedrooms.
The property, which is located approximately 20 minutes from Enontekiö Airport by private transfer, is accessible through a private waiting list only.
The lodge sits 500 metres above sea level and offers views across the tundra of Finland, Norway and Sweden. Facilities include a private chef, dedicated host, sauna, ice-swimming pond and a programme of bespoke Arctic experiences.
Guests will also have access to Sámi cultural experiences and reindeer-herding activities through partnerships with local operators. The property is located around 45 minutes from Kautokeino, a key centre of Sámi culture.
Accommodation can be booked as a single suite, two-suite combination or exclusive-use lodge, targeting couples, families and small groups.
For larger groups, the property can be combined with the nearby Aurora Radar Station, a former military facility converted into accommodation earlier this year. The property offers five apartments with 10 bedrooms, eight bathrooms, dining facilities, a sauna and outdoor hot tub.

Reservations will not be available online, with bookings managed through a private waiting list and travel trade partners.
