Octant Praia Verde hotel in Portugal has introduced several new experiences for this year.
The property, which is located in the Algarve’s Praia Verde, has added activities including horse riding on the beach, which costs €150 per person for a one-hour private ride.
For the February half-term and Easter holidays, cooking classes are on offer for guests to learn how to make the traditional sponge cake Pão de Ló, and there’s a chance to join flamingo-watching experiences.
New evening activities for children include butterfly and chameleon watching.
The hotel also has a new beach bar, which opens at Easter, serving seasonal dishes and drinks for guests at the bar or on their sun loungers.
Octant Praia Verde will complete a wider renovation ahead of the school summer holidays, when it will open 19 new suites, alongside a new wellness area with facilities that will include a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and a new adults-only outdoor pool.
