Saint Lucia’s Jade Mountain Resort has added a new range of wellness activities based on what it says is a ‘growing concept’ – noctourism.
The new activities are based on ‘rest, restoration, and immersive nighttime experiences designed to counterbalance an increasingly hyper-connected world’.
They include nighttime scuba sessions, led by certified dive professionals, exploring Saint Lucia’s underwater ecosystem after dark, with the chance to see octopus, squid, basket stars and bioluminescent organisms.
Once a month, between four and eight guests are invited to an intimate full-moon dining experience by the sea, with a ‘refined multi-course menu celebrating seasonal, organic island produce and fragrant spices’ prepared next to an open table. Each course is paired by a private sommelier.
Moonlight meditation and dining under the stars, either on the terrace or in a guest’s own ‘private sanctuary’, are also on offer.
