ITC has restructured its trade partnership team, promoting Gary Bates and Di Selby as part of a wider shake-up that has also seen a ‘small number’ of colleague leave through voluntary redundancy.
Gary moves up from National Trade Partnership Manager to Head of Trade Partnerships, reporting into Di, whose own role has expanded from Travel Partnership Director to Business Partnership Director.
Gary will continue to oversee Trade Partnership Executives Haley Powell, who covers the North, and Suzanne Warren, who covers the Southern region.
Also, Emily Rutter has been appointed Head of Product and will continue to oversee the Indian Ocean, Middle East and Africa.
ITC said its restructure is aimed at strengthening relationships across the trade as it revamps its luxury products, about which it declined to give further details.
A spokesperson said: “The changes have included a large number of internal promotions, broader leadership responsibilities and people stepping into newly expanded roles. As with any organisational change programme, there have also been a small number of colleagues who have left the business through voluntary redundancy alongside some natural attrition.
“The focus of the programme has been on simplifying the organisation, strengthening collaboration and creating a structure that better supports our clients, travel agent partners and suppliers, rather than reducing headcount.”
ITC Group Managing Director Lisa Smith said: “Luxury travel has never before offered more choice, but luxury has never been about offering the most – rather it’s about knowing what matters most.
“ITC believes the future of luxury travel will be defined not by businesses that simply offer more, but by those that create greater value through expertise, trusted partnerships and genuinely personalised experiences.
“We’ve refined our portfolio, strengthened our partnerships, brought our client journey closer together and created a more connected leadership team because we believe focus creates value.
“For our clients, that means more thoughtful, more personal experiences. For our travel agent partners, it means greater expertise, closer collaboration and a clearer proposition. For our airline, hotel and destination partners, it means deeper relationships, stronger commercial focus and a business that’s investing in the partnerships that matter most.”
