InsideJapan has launched a small group tour for 2026 that combines luxury with culturally rich experiences.
The 14-night guide-led Luxury Japan tour visits six different locations, including Tokyo and Kyoto, alongside stays in less-visited regions such as Kyushu.
Alastair Donnelly, co-founder of parent company Inside Travel, said the tour has been created to answer growing demand for luxury travel for ‘culturally curious’ people wanting to experience some of the best that Japan has to offer at a ‘superior’ level of comfort.
“We have been running our style of Small Group Tours for 25 years now and 2025 was InsideJapan’s biggest ever year for small group tour sales,” Alistair said.
“We’re seeing an increase in the number of travellers seeking immersive small group tours with an added level of comfort – making our new ‘Luxury Japan’ tour the ideal choice.”
Inside Travel Small Group Tour Manager Richard Farmer said the team wanted to design a tour that ‘truly caters to travellers who are both culturally curious and seeking comfort along the way’.
The tour includes 14 nights in superior grade accommodation, all transport across Japan, a selection of meals including breakfast every day, exclusive cultural experiences and a guide. There are four departures for autumn 2026 with a full programme for 2027.
