National Geographic Signature with G Adventures has added 17 new itineraries to its collection of 32 luxury touring experiences that debuted earlier this year.
These new Signature tours include destinations not previously featured by the brand, including Spain, Bhutan and the Canadian Rockies, bringing the total number of tours in the Signature collection to 49 across 44 destinations.
The Signature collection has been created through a partnership with G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions to offer ‘exclusive access, unrivalled expertise and cultural immersion that leaves a meaningful impact on the places visited’.
G Adventures managing director of EMEA Brian Young said: “Signature has quickly become our most successful launch yet, reflecting the strength of the G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions brands and the growing appeal of trips that are both high-end and responsible.
“These new itineraries offer travellers an unparalleled way to experience the world – with unique experiences and exclusive access that simply can’t be found anywhere else, all while making a positive impact. I’m incredibly excited to share these trips with our travellers.
“From the Himalayas to the Rockies and Northern Spain, this expanded collection proves that expert-led storytelling and community-led tourism are the most powerful ways to create a meaningful ripple effect for the people and places we visit.”
Experienced National Geographic Expedition guides lead each departure in the Signature collection, alongside National Geographic Expedition Experts – leaders in fields ranging from photography and biology to geology, history, filmmaking, archaeology and conservation.
In an interview with Indulge ahead of the launch of the new partnership, G Adventures CEO Bruce Poon Tip said the UK is a key market and travel agents will be crucial to National Geographic Signature with G Adventures’ success.
