G Adventures has expanded its Geluxe Collection by 16 trips, including seven new coastal adventures to capitalise on growing customer demand for non-traditional beach holidays.
The additions take the premium range to 82 itineraries, as the tour operator responds to travellers seeking active, immersive experiences over the classic sun-lounger break.
Research from G Adventures found that time on a beach and time in or on water are travellers’ top two sources of happiness. The operator has built its news coastal trips around exploration, weaving in hiking, kayaking, wildlife, local cuisine and meaningful cultural experiences.
The new trips include ‘Malta & Gozo In Depth’, a brand new destination for the operator combining Valletta and Gozo with coastal hikes, tuk tuk rides and local culinary experiences. The eight-day trip starts from £2,549 per person.
Also ‘Discover Madeira’, taking in Pico do Arieiro, the Levada dos Balcões and the Porto Moniz natural pools, with a choice of levada hike or e-bike ride along the south coast. Prices start from £2,699 per person.
Other itineraries include an 11-day adventure through Sri Lanka’s temples, tea highlands and national parks and an eight-day trip exploring the Seychelles.
Every trip also builds in Geluxe Collection’s signature OMG Day, where travellers choose between two experiences, alongside an OMG Stay, with at least one ‘exceptional’ accommodation chosen for its character, location or sense of place.
Vice President of Product Yves Marceau said: “Geluxe has become one of our biggest success stories because it delivers exactly what many travellers have been looking for – active days balanced with exceptional places to stay, incredible food and genuine local connection.
“These new coastal adventures are a natural evolution of the collection. They showcase some of the world’s most beautiful coastlines while giving travellers the opportunity to experience the people, wildlife and cultures that make these destinations truly special.”
