Luxury operator Exsus is on track to host 30% more agents on overseas trips this year, despite the challenges some suppliers face in filling fam trip spaces.
It has at least four separate trips planned, including to Türkiye (Turkey), Mykonos, the Maldives and its Elite FAM to South Africa for travel agents.
The operator said there are ‘a couple of additional possibilities’, which are still under discussion.
Sales Director Sinziana Renciuc said: “We know the current climate has led many businesses to cut back, but for us, continued investment in our people remains incredibly important.
“These trips are about much more than travel. They are about education, confidence, relationship-building and ensuring our team and partners are equipped to deliver the service Exsus is known for.”
Exsus is also currently running a booking incentive for agents, which it said has been ‘designed to offer additional support during a challenging booking period while rewarding continued loyalty’.
For all eligible bookings made between 7 April and 30 April, agents will receive a 50% increase on usual voucher amounts (up to £750, dependent on booking value), plus the chance to win a series of prizes.
This week’s prize is a three-night stay for two on a half-board basis at either Minos Beach Art Hotel or Minos Palace Resort in Crete.
