Exclusive dining experience to debut on Oceania Sonata

Oceania Cruises has unveiled details of an exclusive dining venue set to launch on the cruise line’s next-generation ship, Oceania Sonata.

La Table will be a reservation-only dining experience for just 18 guests and has received the seal of approval from the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, an association of chefs dedicated to preserving and advancing the heritage of French gastronomy.

Two Master Chefs of France, Executive Culinary Directors Chef Alexis Quaretti and Chef Eric Barale, will lead the culinary programme, with menus focusing on French cuisine, including signature creations such as a spider crab potato roll crowned with Sturia Oscietra caviar.

In addition to La Table and the newly introduced Nikkei Kitchen, which will feature a fusion of Peruvian flavours and Japanese culinary techniques, there will be 10 dining options on Oceania Sonata, including the Grand Dining Room and Oceania Cruises’ signature speciality restaurants: Jacques, the line’s French venue; pan-Asian Red Ginger; steakhouse Polo Grill; and Toscana, renowned for its authentic Italian cuisine.
