Elegant Resorts has recorded its most successful first quarter for trade sales in its history.
Trade bookings for the luxury operator increased 45% in the three months to 31 March 2026, compared to the same period last year.
More than 19% of all trade bookings exceeded £100,000, and the biggest booking was a £253,000 trip to Dubai for 2027. New-to-brand agents also made a notable contribution to the bumper results.
National Account Manager Katie Daniels said: “We have seen a surge of big bookings this quarter, which has contributed to it being our best ever. We appreciate that it has been a testing time for our industry recently, but what this proves is that our agents are trusting us with their very best luxury clients more than ever.
“With the issues in the Middle East, we have seen a natural increase in bookings to Europe and the Caribbean, but our tailormade team have also seen a surge in luxury bookings to Japan, Australia and African safari itineraries too.”
Managing Director Gordon McCreadie added: “Our trade business is a very important part of our company, and we want to thank our travel agent partners for being a pivotal extension of our Elegant Resorts family.”
To celebrate the milestone, the operator will host an exclusive Summer Soirée at its head office, bringing together key agent partners to mark the achievement.
It is also planning a wider programme of regional events across the UK, aimed at strengthening relationships with existing partners and introducing the brand to a new generation of luxury travel agents.
