Elegant Resorts has added hotels and tours in Malta to its European Collection this spring.
It is offering a choice of four five-star hotels on the Mediterranean island and two private tours.
Three of the hotels are in the capital, Valletta: the Phoenicia Malta (pictured), Rosselli AX Privilege and Iniala Harbour House.
The fourth hotel- the Verdala Wellness Hotel, which opened last summer – is in Rabat.
Senior Product Manager for Europe Sophie Jones described Malta as ‘a destination that combines culture, history, and an unforgettable dining scene’.
“It has a high concentration of Michelin stars for such a small island, alongside incredible local spots serving fresh seafood and Italian-inspired dishes,” she added. “It works well for a short break in Valletta or a longer, more leisurely stay at a hotel like The Phoenicia. You can even combine a visit with Sicily with a 90-minute ferry connection.”
Elegant Resorts has put together two private itineraries: a five-day ‘Discover Malta’, which includes accommodation at the Phoenicia Malta and tours around Valletta and to Gozo; and an 11-day ‘A Tale of Two Islands: Malta and Sicily’ twin centre.
