A company is offering four-night charters on a private boat on the Nile in Egypt, for up to 12 guests.
Nubia Dahabeya operates a traditional shallow-bottomed Egyptian vessel, created as a private, owner-curated experience, with itineraries tailored around guests’ interests and combining cultural visits and local experiences.
The boat has six cabins, a partially enclosed upper deck, indoor dining and living spaces, and interiors designed by artist and co-owner Hedayat Taymour’s design practice, Jam by Hedayat.
Sailing between Luxor and Aswan, the itinerary includes visits to key sites such as the ancient Esna Temple, the Temple of Horus at Edfu, Kom Ombo’s twin temple and the tombs of El Kab, alongside experiences with local artisans, food producers and communities.
Four-night private charters start from £17,000 for up to 12 guests, including accommodation, full board, transfers and excursions.
ABTA-registered Nubia Dahabeya will also operate a one-off private sailing for the total solar eclipse on 2 August 2027, featuring a dedicated viewing location, eclipse equipment and a programme inspired by ancient Egyptian connections to the sun. The 2027 eclipse sailing is priced from £22,000.
Hedayat said: “Nubia began as a deeply personal project for Elwy and me, a family dream to create a home on the Nile where we could travel at our own pace and feel close to the places, people and stories we love.
“Every detail was considered slowly and with care, because we believe true luxury lies in calm, space and a sense of connection. Over time, we realised that what we had created was worth sharing.
“Today, Nubia gives guests the chance to experience the Nile through our eyes and entirely on their own terms.”
