Crystal unveils inaugural season in the Med for its newest ship

Crystal has announced details of the inaugural season for its newest ship Crystal Grace, along with summer and autumn 2028 voyages for Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, all of which will open for booking on 28 April.

Crystal Grace will embark on its inaugural voyage on 11 June 2028 from Civitavecchia (Rome) and will call at Sorrento, Igoumenitsa, Kotor, Split, Zadar and Trieste before continuing to Venice to launch a Mediterranean season that will operate voyages across Italy, Croatia, Greece, France and Spain.

The ship will be christened during an overnight stay in Monte Carlo on the 8 July voyage that departs from Barcelona. Guests will also have the opportunity to combine select sailings into five extended journeys, including two 34-night itineraries with no repeating ports.

Crystal Grace will then sail west in September from Lisbon via the Azores to Halifax and New York, beginning a series of autumn voyages in New England and Eastern Canada, including Québec City and Charlottetown. November itineraries will feature Bermuda and Caribbean departures from Fort Lauderdale, with calls in Antigua, St. Lucia, Aruba and Barbados.

Following its 2028 World Cruise, Crystal Symphony will begin its summer season in the Americas departing from Fort Lauderdale on 10 June, with a Panama Canal transit and calls in Cartagena, Puerto Caldera, San Juan del Sur and Puerto Vallarta, before sailing along the California coast to San Diego and San Francisco.

The ship will then spend the peak summer months in Alaska and British Columbia featuring multiple departures from Vancouver and Seward with calls including Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Sitka and Wrangell as well as scenic cruising along the famed Hubbard Glacier.  The season also includes two combination voyages.

In late September, Crystal Symphony will head to Japan, beginning a series of voyages throughout Japan and South Korea with ports including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagasaki, Busan and Kanazawa.

Crystal Serenity will begin its summer season in Europe on 5 May, sailing from the Iberian Peninsula into the Mediterranean with calls including Cádiz, Valencia, Monte Carlo, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Valletta and Piraeus.

The ship will then head north to the British Isles and Norway, sailing a Grand Journey above the Arctic Circle to Honningsvåg, before continuing to Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, with consecutive calls in Reykjavik, Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm with two combination cruises available.

Crystal Serenity’s late summer and early autumn sailings will Northern Europe’s historic ports before the ship heads south through Western Europe and the Mediterranean with calls in La Goulette, Cagliari, Ajaccio, Marseille, Palamós and Barcelona. The season concludes with a transatlantic crossing and additional sailings in warmer climates.
