Luxury tour operator Audley Travel has added Austria and Switzerland to its portfolio.
The tailor-made specialist’s Austria tours highlight the country’s glacial lakes and alpine landscapes, as well as key cities Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck.
Recommendations for custom itineraries include boat rides around Lake Hallstatt, retracing Mozart’s footsteps in Salzburg and watching a show at the Vienna Opera House.
Guests on bespoke Switzerland tours can also choose from a wide range of experiences, from exploring the iconic Lauterbrunnen Valley and its 72 waterfalls to touring the car-free mountain village of Wengen.
Other highlights include hearing alphorn players in the Emmental Valley and viewing the Alps’ longest glacier from a mountain summit in the Swiss Alps.
An eight-day Switzerland tailor-made tour starts at £6,450 per person, while a 14-day itinerary in Austria costs from £9,975 per person. Both are based on two people sharing and include flights, transfers, accommodation and excursions.
Audley’s expanded offering comes after it announced plan to open a number of UK retail stores.
