Atlas Ocean Voyages reveals first sailings for expedition yacht

Atlas Ocean Voyages has revealed the first itineraries for its new luxury expedition sailing yacht, Atlas Adventurer, set to debut in November 2028.

The new Extraordinary Expeditions collection is headlined by a 128-night ‘Grand Odyssey’ voyage from Kobe, Japan to Cape Town, South Africa, departing 30 November 2028.

The sailing spans Asia, the Indian Ocean and Africa, calling at destinations including Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Seychelles, before continuing to Madagascar, Kenya and South Africa.

Extended stays are planned in key ports such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali and Ho Chi Minh City.

The new 400-guest vessel, which the brand describes as ‘the world’s first luxury expedition sailing yacht’, will offer all-suite accommodation, seven dining venues, five lounges, two outdoor bars and wellness facilities.

Expedition features will include Zodiacs, luxury motorboats and a marina platform.

Atlas Adventurer itineraries, ranging from eight to 128 nights, will operate between November 2028 and April 2029.

Other sailings include a 40-night ‘Apex of the East Indies’ Bangkok to Singapore itinerary departing on 23 December 2028 and a 42-night ‘East Africa and Asia Expedition’ from Bali to Mombasa, Kenya from 10 February 2029.

Guests will receive up to £3,300 air credit, a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, private transfers, included laundry and wifi and an exclusive shoreside experience.
