Saudi Arabia’s ultra-luxury tourism project AMAALA has opened its first phase at Triple Bay on the Red Sea coast.
The initial launch includes the opening of a Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA, with 202 rooms, alongside a yacht club and a Corallium Marine Life research and visitor centre.
Further hotel openings are scheduled throughout summer 2026, including Six Senses, Rosewood, Equinox and Nammos, with additional brands such as Jayasom, The Ritz-Carlton and Clinique La Prairie due to follow in early 2027.
AMAALA is positioned as a high-end wellness-focused destination and forms part of Saudi Arabia’s wider tourism strategy to attract international visitors.
The development is located on the Red Sea coast and is designed to run on renewable energy, with visitor numbers capped at 500,000 a year.
On July 1, Saudi Arabia eased access for UK visitors, introducing an Electronic Travel Authorisation, which allows for multiple entries and stays of up to 180 days,
